Caslon Primary Community School was built in 1953, the year of the Queen’s Coronation and was named after local 18th Century printer William Caslon. This renowned typeface designer was believed to have been born in Cradley in 1693 and his name lives on in our school.

Caslon is a one form entry school, with rising pupil numbers. We have a 32 place Daycare and 64 place Governor-run Nursery. We have 7 classes from Reception to Year 6 and we offer onsite Daycare and Nursery provision including breakfast and after school clubs which operate during term time.

Our school has a growing reputation within Dudley and we are exceptionally proud of our very recent success in KS2 SATS results and raising standards. To find out all you need to know about Caslon and more, please read our School Prospectus.
